Here are a few pages from a Luke de la Vega story written by Miguel Torres. The story is about a bull run with Luke watching it unfold. Of course the story involves more then just bulls yet that is the setting of the story.

Look is a classic story that his roots come from a time when Miguel used to rpg. Yet our hero here is a dark avenger that takes no crap from no one and he will stop at nothing.

My art process for this was done with a normal pencil and an ink pen. Hope you enjoy the preview pages and keep an eye out as I work on this, Tianos, some freelance work and the up coming BOCAS AMAZON KILLER, storyline. ;)

Final Bocas page short and a look back down memory lane!

Well this is the final page of Bocas. The now classic Bocas book The Beginning was first published back of July 2005. So this summer Bocas will be five years old. He was a story that was inspired by my fathers wild tales. So Bocas as my child has been with me for years. My time in Philadelphia down to the time in Bridgeton NJ.

In the original stories Bocas killed rapist, and went after political figureheads that were corrupt. The story started with Pedro Gomez dying by his brother Luis's hand and it had him bringing the curse of Bocas alive.

This will be the last straight lace Bocas tale for many years to come. Don't worry I didn't say this was the last Bocas story. I haven't done much work with my hero for years now since my father dying almost 4 years ago. That tells you a lot of time has passed since my original Bocas stories. You see my father was the model to the original Bocas stories thus why Bocas has the usual Estrada'ness to him, and looks like a family member in some manner of another.

Bocas was in many terms my father and I all but stopped drawing the character and went on to other titles and done other things. Yet Bocas never left me. No no no. There is so much more I wanted to do with my hero and I feel that the next story in line for Bocas will kick that door wide open.

This time my hero will go against amazon woman. That is right you heard it first here, BOCAS AMAZON KILLER, will be the next title of my hero and boy is this going to be a comical story.

Initially when I created the story the drunk was supposed to be my other buddies guy, Luke de La Vega. Who is known to haunt bars and talk made garbage. Yet being that it was a short most people wouldn't get that and he could be any sort of bearded crazy bird.

More Bocas Pages

Okay here are two additional Bocas pages. They are not colored in like I said they were for an unpublished story, by the time I got close to having them ready the project was dead.

Meanwhile, doing some class work and still doing other legal research.

It is raining, today. I woke up and my toilet was backed up. I think the children pulled a fast one on me as I plunged and used a snake to uncork it and still no affect. Later today some drain-o and a power snake rental. Lets see.

Meanwhile today it is raining here in Florida. Tonight I am going to see my friend George Moss, hadn't seen the man for two years at least. I missed him last year when he went down to Megacon. I'm going to be missing Megacon, my money has to go elsewhere and I also have to go to a funeral saturday afternoon. My cousin's husband passed away over dealing with Crohn's illness.

Bocas pages and other things on my mind

Here are two pages more from the Bocas short. This was a brief synopsis on previous events which was showing you what had come before in earlier volumes. Most enjoy.

I had been trying to get a con off the ground for comics the last few weeks. I had decided I wanted to do it down the line like 8-12 months from now. Well I had a buddy of mine that wanted to partner up with me, and suddenly he wanted to host a con like in 2-3 months and his exact words were. I have to have this con on the table this year because I have to prove to my wife I AM STILL THE MAN.

I looked at my friend and I decided at this point it was time to back out. That was not a good sign, I had written a business plan and was ready to strike, but something inside me told me to quit while I was a head and wait for another time.

Well he kept pestering me and asking me when were we going to roll he wanted it to be held by June, and I told him no it should be held in November. I told him this over Text. This is when he told me over text that he wouldn't talk to me over text no longer that I had to call him.

At this point when the majority of our conversations were always text based, he decided to change the game and demand I talk to him via normal phone communication. I called him and he then tries to pressure me to have the con earlier. At this point I told him to stop and I quit completely. He had a meltdown on the phone screaming and cry. I told him call me when he was doing better. This happened on monday.

Now yesterday on tuesday I emailed the Guardian on Patrick's case no word yet. I will keep everyone posted.

Bocas Short

I figure I will put up a page a day of this short so you guys can check out the latest on what I have.

This is an unpublished story of mine that has never seen print and it may never be printed. I am working on several different projects right now. Yet here goes. It took me like 9 hours for the black and white and it is a flash back to the previous stories of Bocas lore. Enjoy!
